Terms & Conditions

The Apollo Perelini Rugby Skills Academy (APRSA) reserve the right to update & change, from time to time, the Terms and Conditions.All current attendees of the Academy will be notified of any changes.

Disclaimer

  • I am aware of the nature and scope of the Rugby Academy operated by the Apollo Sporting Academy (‘The Academy’).
  • I authorize participation by my child/children in the coaching sessions, and I understand that normal safety procedures and risk assessments will be implemented during the sessions.
  • I further certify that my child/children is/are medically and physically capable of participation in such rugby activities.

Registration

  • Acceptance of an application for membership is at the discretion of the APRSA
  • Registration for the programme is with the Apollo Sporting Academy (the governing body of APRSA).
  • Registration is confirmed upon notification from APRSA that your registration has been approved.
  • Registration is limited to the APRSA specified programme
  • Preference of place will be given to those individuals who choose to register for the entire programme.

Price & Payment Terms

  • The price of the programme will be as specified in promotional material made available in print and/or electronically.
  • Full payment is due at the time of registration to guarantee your place in the programme.

The Programme

  • APRSA prioritise the safety and well-being of all children participating in our programme’s.
  • APRSA reserve the right to remove from the programme any person who is found to engage in offensive behavior, the bullying of others, disruptive behaviour or for any other reason where we consider a person’s behaviour is detrimental to the safety of other persons attending a programme.
  • In the event of removal from the programme for any of these reasons, no refund will be made of any fees paid.

Refunds & Credit Policy

  • No refund or credit is permitted for a participant’s failure to attend the programme.
  • The following will be applied for the reasons stated
  • -Non-attendance due to injury: - In the event that you are not able to attend the programme due to sickness or injury, a medical certificate is required. APRSA must be notified prior to missing any session. Sessions can either be made up or credited. Should a medical certificate not be provided sessions will not be credited.
  • -Non-attendance due to illness/absence: - In the event you are not able to attend the programme due to illness or absence, APRSA must be notified prior to missing the session. Sessions can be made up at another suitable location/session during the same term. These sessions will not be credited or carried over to the following term or programme*
  • -Non-attendance due to exceptional circumstances: - In the event you are not able to attend the programme due to exceptional circumstances, APRSA must be notified and credits/refunds will be given at the discretion of APRSA.
  • If payment has been made with credit from another/previous programme, the credit will not be carried forward for a participant’s failure to attend the programme for any reason.
  • The termly registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Make up sessions will be on the basis that an alternative, suitable session is available and is at the discretion of APRSA

*Should this fall within the last week of the programme, a make up will be allowed the following term.

COVID 19 Policy

  • Sessions missed due to either a positive result or the result of a close contact, can be made up at another suitable location/session during the same term. These sessions will not be credited or carried over to the following term*
  • APRSA will follow the DHA guidelines and requirements to allow a player to return to the programme. For example, if your child/children is not allowed to attend school then they should not attend the programme.

*Should this fall within the last week of the programme, a make up will be allowed the following term.

Medical treatment

  • In the event of injury or illness to my child, a qualified member (First Aid Certified) of APRSA will administer first aid measures which are determined necessary, and if determined necessary, they will be transported by ground or air ambulance and/or referred to physicians and admission to hospital.
  • If required in an emergency APRSA will give consent for emergency medical treatment of your child if determined necessary, including but not limited to, anesthesia, injection, surgery, x-ray, and medication, if I cannot be contacted immediately for such consent.
  • I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my contact details are correct at the time of registration, and in the event of injury, illness or medical emergency all reasonable efforts will be made to contact me.
  • Please list any special medical conditions which may be important for each participant including: Allergies, fainting, convulsions, special medications, asthma, diabetes, bleeding, heart problems, back problems, and/or any other at the time of registration.
  • It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that their child has their own medical insurance which may be used for any medical emergency.

Use of Photographic and Video Images for Promotional Purposes

  • The Academy may from time-to-time produce photographic and/or video content to be used in the promotion of the Academy.This may include printed material (including flyers and brochures), social media, the Academy website, and other electronic media (including e-newsletters), that include images of children participating in Academy sessions.
  • Consent by a parent/guardian for the use of such images will be sought via the registration form
  • Where a parent/guardian does not consent, a copy of the child’s image will be required to be held on file by The Academy as a reference to ensure his/her image is not included in any promotional material.
